Should I get a site to sell FB A.B.C ? Because after the Full release of FireBASIC, I am going to make FireBASIC A.B.C something else which may take a long time to create.

Well if FireBASIC is shareware go ahead and make A.B.C shareware. but if firebasic is freeware, i don't think many people may pay for ABC

First make it good. Why not make a Lite and Pro Version? Lite being free so users can test the A.B.C Pro out.

Good idea, Nitesh. But in the lite version, how about make it the ABC version with all the functions, but some function will be remove after 30 days. Should I do that?

yeah that's a pretty good idea. that way users can have a free alternative, but get a craving for the profesional version by testing it out. By the way here's the tutorial. Scroll down to the bottom. I'm improving on this. Any questions. If so we'll organize a time for meeting in the LB chatroom.

Or you could make a stripped down installer. for example, I use Advanced Installer for my install for Gnome. You can assign serials and stuff so just a suggestion but maybe make 2 versions of ABC. One totally basic, no advanced features with no registration code and another one with all the feature but you have to put in a serial code. how about that?
Also you can have it in the quick start menu.Gnome is the last one. Here is the url for the pic: http://denvish.net/ulf/100407/62716_gnome_taskbar.JPG

i think the method SS mentioned was better, as it would allow for the user to try out FB ABC and if [s]he doesn't want the full product [s]he'll continue to use FB ABC free version. But after [s]he gets a 30 day taste of the full version, [s]he'll want to buy the full version and allow herself to experience the FB ABC experience for ever.

But many people always try to use things to decompile and file out the trail version from the full version if they do that. I think I will go with my method for now. It will be better that way. But thanks for giving in anyway .
And We can do API calls for that. Put it can be on there once we run it and play with that program for some hours.

I read your post on the GC forum. This kinda reminds me of JustBASIC(except that JB isn't open source). Just asking, no offence but why would people buy something for something else that is free. FB is free and open source but why would people buy FB ABC when FB is free. Take no offense on this -Caplet

Well FB ABC will take alot of time to make. FB ABC will be more powerful than FB. Its going to have something like the Projet Center to set out the project information, but ABC is like a GUI FOrm to set out your designs, then goto the scripting part. Its like RealBASIC, but RealBASIC is more powerful. FB ABC might have 2 copies. One made in LB, and one in something else.
Carl dont want to give his source out because its up to him & It got some code from smalltalk which people may try to use to decrypt the tkn files. (thats what I think)

TKN is not encrypted using your method. It's encrypted using Carl's method of encryption. It could be md5, sha-1, sha-256, A=1 or other methods.

SS, you should make the encrypter and decrypter closed source.

I did, but It dont really encrypt that easy and dont decrypt that easy. It will be a while til I do, but I think about in the Lite version, it will have an Encrypter and a Decrypter, but if they want it to say decrypt, they will have to buy the Pro version. So that no one copy there source nor, steal there idea. Or make it a full version but the program they make will stay open for only 5 - 10 minutes, then the program closes.

Someone said earlier people will not pay for ABC if FB is freeware, people still buy LB even though JB is free!
